This is book number 3 in my TBR Challenge. Why did I love it? I loved how I was pulled into the story. I felt her pain and her grief. I went along with her on her journey of discovery and saw how the discoveries affected her. Even though she wanted life to stop she was forced to continue to face her pain and discoveries. i've read two of Anita Shreve's other novels. i guess i'll have to give this one a try.
I enjoyed this book as well. I've also read The Weight of Water and Light on Snow by this same author and I recommend both.
Thanks for the review. This book is on my TBR list and hopefully, I will get to it one day!
I really wanted to read this book and never found the time. It didn't make it on the TBR Challenge list...my list is too long...lol!
I understand about the TBR list. Mine seems to grow longer everyday.
I'm happy that I found a blog that had read this book. For those of you who hadn't read it, you got to give it a try. I so love it and here is my review of the book with no spoiler:
