Thanksgiving by Janet Evanovich

Thanksgiving is part of twelve romances that Evanovich wrote in the late eighties and early nineties. Nine of them were published. They are being re-released. Thanksgiving is number six in the romance series.

I like the setting in the book. It takes place in Colonial Williamsburg. One of the characters, Meagan works there on weekends selling tickets. She also makes tea pots during the week. The other character Pat is a pediatrician who just moved to Williamsburg. They are brought together by a bunny and a baby.

What follows is a hilarious series of events that bring this couple closer together. For example, when they attempt to cook different foods for Thanksgiving dinner with burning results.

This book is a nice light romance. Evanovich has a nice touch of comedy in this book. It was a quick, easy read. A nice vacation book.

Happy reading
